A Dark New Green Lantern Elseworlds Story Showcases The Last Lantern

A new Green Lantern adventure takes flight in Green Lantern Dark #1, a new story showing a DC Universe overcome with darkness as part of the Elseworlds imprint.
House of Slaughter’s Tate Bombral and acclaimed Something is Killing the Children artist Werther Dell'Edera team up for a story about the last hero remaining in a world covered in death and destruction. In Green Lantern Dark #1, the keeper of the mystical green flame appears to be the same Green Lantern appearing in the 1998 Tangent Comics series. She’ll face off against Solomon Gundy and his undead army in a fight for survival.
Green Lantern Dark #1 features some gorgeous covers, including the main artwork from Dell’Edera that shows the Green Lantern overlooking Solomon Grundy’s undead army. Homare’s card stock variant (also available as a foil cover) features a look at the hero unmasked. David Nakayama’s card stock variant gives readers a closer look at the Green Lantern from the story, and her sleek costume and staff. Dan Jurgens, Norm Rapmund, and Alex Sinclair draw the 1:25 variant featuring the Tangent Universe hero standing in a graveyard. Meanwhile, Nakayama will also do a 1:50 variant, which hasn’t yet been revealed. Check out Dell-Edera’s main cover art, followed by the text solicits below.
