The Absolute Universe has been a massive success with the launches of Absolute Batman, Absolute Wonder Woman, and soon, Absolute Superman. The alternate Dark Knight's adventures from Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta are getting a third printing for those who missed out.
DC Comics reinvented Batman in the Absolute Universe, with Bruce Wayne stripped of his most notable origins and history. In the comic, his mother is still alive; he's an engineer and a builder and doesn't have a Bat Cave but instead operates inside the Gotham underbelly. In the debut issue, readers get to see the massive Batman with an all-new logo and design, including a battle axe, which he isn't afraid to use to slice up those standing in his way.
The third printing features covers from Nick Dragotta featuring Absolute Batman in the air on a motorcycle. Dragotta's main cover art will also feature a virgin foil variant. Jerome Opena will have a card stock variant for the reprint, while Dragotta's 1:25 Gotham Zoo variant shows off the bat exhibit that helped set Bruce Wayne on his journey as a hero. Check out the foil virgin variant followed by the text solicit.
BATMAN LEGEND SCOTT SNYDER AND ICONIC ARTIST NICK DRAGOTTA TRANSFORM THE DARK KNIGHT'S TALE FOR THE MODERN AGE! Without the mansion... without the money... without the butler... what's left is the Absolute Dark Knight!
Readers can pick up the latest reprinting of Absolute Batman #1 on Nov. 27th, 2024. Pre-order the comic at CaptCan Comics now to ensure you don't miss out!
