One of the most iconic team-ups in comics gets a brand-new modern story as Hal Jordan's Green Lantern and Oliver Queen's Green Arrow join forces in the upcoming Green Lantern/Green Arrow: World's Finest Special #1. And it won't be all fun and games, as the pair face off against a major DC villain.
When Green Lantern and Green Arrow were paired together in Green Lantern/Green Arrow by Dennis O'Neil and Neal Adams, the odd couple matchup proved to be a winning formula. Now, in 2024, the pair stars in a story by Jeremy Adams and Lucas Meyer. DC takes readers to the recent past as the two uncover the truth about Deathstroke and the villain's rise in the DC Universe.
Green Lantern/Green Arrow: World's Finest Special #1 features main cover art from Dan Mora, showing the two heroes striking a pose in the backdrop of their combined logos. Howard Porter's card stock variant showcases the heroes combining their skills with Green Lantern, creating a bow and arrow construct for his crimefighting partner. V.
