New Miniseries Reunites Marvel's Hawkeye & Black Widow

A classic team-up is getting a new twist as Hawkeye and Black Widow are set to star in a brand-new Black Widow & Hawkeye miniseries from Stephanie Phillips and Paolo Villanelli that will bring one of Marvel’s best duos back together.
Hawkeye and Black Widow have been longtime friends in pages of Marvel Comics, with the Avenger archer making his comic book debut in “Tales of Suspense” #57 by Stan Lee, Don Heck, and Sam Rosen. In the story, Hawkeye and Black Widow take on the Avengers, beginning a partnership that would stand the test of time — including being adapted in several live-action films, including The Avengers. Marvel is bringing Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton back together in Black Widow & Hawkeye. The comic will see a symbiote-infused Black Widow get involved with Hawkeye amid an international incident where her fellow hero is accused of murder, causing considerable friction between the United States and Madripoor.
The main cover for Black Widow & Hawkeye #1 from Stephen Segoiva and Jesus Aburtov features the hero breaking through a window and making iconic poses as they fall. Adam Hughes variant features the heroes in their most iconic looks with the text joking about hitting Kang with an arrow. Mark Brooks’ headshot variant (also available in a 1:50 black and white incentive cover) features Clint Barton in his classic mask. A 1:25 variant features George Perez’s interpretation of the Marvel archer.
