Penthouse Comics Returns: A New Era of Adult Storytelling

Penthouse Comics is back as the classic adult-themed comic book is getting a brand-new issue featuring several superstar creators in 2024.
Debuting back in 1994, Penthouse Comix initially began as part of Penthouse Magazine before spinning into its own series, which ran for 33 issues. The likes of Adam Hughes, Mark Beachum, Garry Leach, Kevin Nowlan, Mike Harris, Arthur Suydam, Jordan Raskin, Horacio Altuna, Milo Manara, Richard Corben, Tony Salmons, Bart Sears, Gray Morrow are among the talents to work on the adult-oriented books, which ceased publication back in 1998. However, It was revealed the series was recently announced to return more than 25 years after it initially folded.
The main cover from Matteo Scalera features a scantily dressed woman on top of a robotic animal-like vehicle. Jeff Dekal’s polybagged cover features a woman and a tiger — with the bag blocking off naughty bits of the titular character. Joshua Swaby’s cover features a woman barely covering herself while sitting in a giant clamshell. Marc Aspinall’s variant shows the beginnings of a tantalizing text conversation. Robert Sammelin’s cover features a sexy spy in action. Meanwhile, Vanessa Del Rey and Bro’s covers have yet to be fully revealed but will feature nudity and come in polybags. Maria Llovet also draws a 1:10 incentive variant, which shows a woman sitting down with a long-sleeved shirt on and nothing else. CaptCan Comics will have all Incentives available for purchase upon release.
Penthouse Comics (dropping the x) will feature a new wave of creators tackling seductive and action-packed new stories. The tales in issue one include:
Gun Crazy debuts the wild ride of Dolly Sanchez and Lanoya O'Brien, two girls fighting for survival in this violent story in the crossroads of Tarantino, VHS stuff, and the 80's.
Guillem March draws Jean Dufaux's The Dream, a tale about Megan, a Hollywood casting director who attempts to bring out the potential actor hidden deep inside a stripper in the San Francisco suburbs.
I Spit On Your Grave is an adaptation of Vernon Sullivan's famous novel about Lee Anderson, whose only goal is to avenge the death of his brother. Along the way he'll fall into a life of debauchery and sex.
Miss October follows a young and high-flying female who desperately must find the killer whose murdering women, one-by-one and dubbing them by each month of the year, before she's next!
The second issue of Penthouse Comics will feature artists Tula Lotay, Jae Lee, Marguerite Sauvage, and more household names in the industry. Readers can pick up the genre-hopping stories in the 96-page issues, which come out bi-monthly in the magazine format.
