Red Hood's New Mission: Uniting Gotham's Vigilantes!

Jason Todd is getting his own six-issue with Red Hood: The Hill, which will have the fan-favorite antihero fighting alongside a new vigilante with a common goal of taking down a villain readers haven’t seen before.
Jason Todd’s origin remains one of the most tragic in comics. Originally a young criminal brought in by Batman to be the next Robin, Todd was killed by the Joker. After returning to life thanks to the Lazarus Pit, Todd adopted the moniker of the Red Hood (previously used by Joker) and turned to a life of vigilantism, adopting more brutal methods than the Dark Knight. Eventually, Jason would reconcile with Batman despite the hero’s reservations about his use of violence. In Red Hood: The Hill by Shawn Martinbrough and Sanford Greene, Jason will return to one of Gotham City’s most dangerous neighborhoods that makes even the most hardened criminals watch their backs. However, when Jason arrives at the Hill, which has become gentrified over the years, he quickly learns there’s still lots to fight for. Teaming up with a new hero called Strike and a group of vigilantes from the Hill, the Red Hood will join them in dismantling deadly threats.
Red Hood: The Hill #1 features two revealed covers thus far. The first one from Sanford Greene features Jason Todd in his Red Hood attire, wielding multiple weapons as he prepares to deal with an attack from the nefarious forces from his new home. Tirso Cons variant gives readers a closer look at Strike fighting alongside Red Hood against a wave of evildoers. The image shows Strike standing among a pile of baddies while Jason uses his trademark crowbar to help take them out. Check out that cover followed by the text solicit for the first issue.
