Rogue: The Savage Land takes readers back to Chris Claremont and Jim Lee’s Uncanny X-Men story set in the prehistoric part of the Marvel Universe. In Rogue: The Savage Land, Rogue and Magneto’s time on the Savage Land gets an even more detailed look!
The comic will return Rogue and Magneto to the Savage Land, where their unlikely romance (most recently seen in X-Men ‘97) gets revisited. Rogue will not only have to deal with Magneto but also the area’s dinosaurs, which are all looking to take a bite out of the mutant. Additionally, Ka-Zar will play a significant role in the five-issue series, which author Tim Seeley iterating to Marvel.com will feature scantily clad characters, dinosaurs, and plenty of ‘80s X-Men vibes.
Marvel isn't messing around when it comes to artists to draw the iconic Rogue look and costume, as the main cover art comes from Kaare Andrews. He'll be joined with variants by some of the best in the business, including J. Scott Campbell, Adam Hughes, Nick Bradshaw, Russell Dauterman, and Olivier Vatine. Additionally, a Marvel Animation variant will be available. The incentive variant offerings will include a 1:25 cover from Alexander Lozano, a 1:50 variant from Jerome Opena, and a 1:100 virgin variant from Campbell! Check out the main cover art followed by the text solicit below!
