The Incredible Hulk: Horrors Unleashed in New Series!

The Hulk is back in the Marvel Universe with his new ongoing series refocusing the Jade Giant’s adventures into a full-blown horror comic.
The Hulk’s ongoing series has experienced massive highs and lows in recent years. Al Ewing and Joe Bennett’s run on Immortal Hulk is rightly considered one of the best Hulk stories ever made, with the comic exploring Hulk’s psyche like never before while he dealt with his own mortality or lack thereof. After Immortal Hulk wrapped up, Marvel handed the keys to the character over to a promising creative team of Donny Cates and Ryan Ottley. While the talented duo's arc began with a bang, turning Hulk into a spaceship and having Bruce Banner pilot him from inside his mind while also giving him an exciting new villain called Titan, Cates’ departure from the series led to the run concluding with little momentum it had previously gained.
However, Marvel Comics is ensuring the next iteration of the Hulk’s ongoing series gives readers something exciting and new, with Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Nic Klein, and Matt Wilson taking over the character’s book. In a preview for the upcoming The Incredible Hulk series, Hulk is now fighting to take control of Bruce Banner while dealing with the Mother of Horrors, who is working alongside some of Marvel’s monsters to be freed.

As an enraged Hulk tries to take control of Bruce Banner's body permanently, a mysterious immortal turns every monster in the Marvel Universe against Banner in an attempt to free their creator, the primordial Mother of Horrors. With the help of an unlikely new friend, Banner and Hulk must try to stop the world from getting plunged into darkness in this terrifying new series!
Cover art for the series includes a main cover from Klein, a Skottie Young baby variant featuring Bruce Banner transforming into the Hulk, Jim Cheung’s Hulk-starring variant cover in his signature style, the Jade Giant Hulking out in a cover from the late George Perez, and a dark variant showing the Hulk inside Banner from David Marquez.
Patrick Gleason’s “Elemental variant” highlights the Hulk’s radioactive origin, with his cover being available as a 1:100 virgin variant. The Incredible Hulk will also feature a 1:100 virgin variant of George Perez’s cover art and a vintage cover from late comic book legend and artist Herb Trimpe.
