Ultimate X-Men Reborn: Peach Momoko's Fresh Vision

The X-Men are coming to Marvel’s new Ultimate Universe with superstar artist and writer Peach Momoko tackling the latest iteration of Marvel’s mutants.
The Ultimate Universe is taking shape following the events of Ultimate Invasion, as Jonathan Hickman and Marco Checchetto’s Ultimate Spider-Man has been well-received by critics and audiences. After Ultimate Black Panther from Bryan Edward Hill and Stefano Caselli arrives at CaptCan Comics in February, the next title in the new world is Ultimate X-Men. Fan-favorite cover artist and Demon Days creator Peach Momoko tackles Ultimate X-Men. The series follows the hero Armor in Japan and will introduce new characters, mutants, and more into the Ultimate Universe. Momoko will bring her signature style to the series, writing and drawing the comic.
The series features stellar cover work, including Momoko drawing Armor with her powers on full display in Ultimate X-Men #1’s main cover. Momoko draws another X variant, giving a closer look at the starring hero. Variant covers include ones from Betsy Cola and Dike Ruan, who both draw a new young character, Maystrom, who idolizes Storm and appears to possess similar powers. Inhyuk Lee and Mark Brooks will draw variants for the series (which haven’t been revealed yet). Incentive covers include a 1:25 variant from fan-favorite artist Kris Anka, Brooks’ virgin variant with a 1:100 incentive, Lee’s cover at a 1:100 incentive, and a 1:10 design variant from Momoko featuring a closer look at Maystrom.
