Wolverine has been unleashed in the Ultimate Universe, as the world's Winter Soldier made his bloody introduction in Ultimate Wolverine #1 by Christopher Condon and Alessandro Cappuccio. In a future storyline, the killing machine sets his sights on Kitty Pryde and Gambit.
Wolverine's Ultimate Universe counterpart made his bloody mark in his titular series' first issue, where he went on the warpath against the Opposition, brutally killing Mystique and Nightcrawler. Under the control of The Maker's council, Winter Soldier appeared to remember his past and connection to his fellow mutants for just a moment, hinting that he was starting to gain some semblance of control again. Unfortunately, by issue three, he'll still be a weapon and will go after some more familiar faces. Can they fix his mind or is more blood about to be spilled?
Ultimate Wolverine #3 features main cover art from Alessandro Cappuccio and Frank Martin. Variants are coming from Leinil Francis Yu and Mateu Manhanini.
